Welfare Schemes for Students at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi
1. Earn While you learn:-
In the Scheme of remuneration to the students on part-time employment in the University. Maximum number of days a student can be employed shall not ordinarily exceed an equivalent of 10 days in a month
Eligibility:- Students of the University with the following qualification:-
Qualification:-Pursuing UG degree – Rs. 500/- per day
Qualification:- UG/ Pursuing UG degree – Rs. 800- 1000/- per day
Qualification:-Pursuing PG MPhil degree – Rs. 1200-1500/- per day
Qualification:-Pursuing PG MPhil degree – Rs. 1200-1500/- per day
Qualification:- MPhil/Pursuing PhD degree – Rs. 1800-2000/- per day
2. Scholarship:-
10% of the fee collected from students in a programme during each semester is set aside for awarding Scholarships to top 20% students in terms of their performance.
Eligibility:- UG & PG students of University
3. Student Travel Grant:-
This fund has been created to meet the travel and other expenses of students related to paper presentation or attending conferences within or outside India.
Eligibility:-
(a) All BA, MA and PhD students of the University are eligible to apply for the grant.
(b) For international travel only once during the student’s term in BA + MA degree programme or PhD programme of University Twice for national travel during the student’s term for PhD students and once for BA and MA students

4. Student Welfare Fund:-
The Student Welfare Fund has been created within University with the objective of making financial assistance available for meeting the welfare needs of needy students, such as emergent medical assistance, photocopies, meeting boarding and lodging expenses equivalent to the amount that is required to avail of University hostel facilities and any other comparable needs of the student.
Eligibility:- UG & PG students of the University
5. Stipend:-
The University provides minimum financial support PhD students from academic year 2012 who are not receiving any fellowship grant under any other scheme
Eligibility:- Research Scholars of the University
6. Fee Waiver:-
The primary purpose of a fee waiver is to support individuals who may not be able to afford required fees due to financial hardship or other qualifying criteria .100% fee waiver of Tuition Fees to all students belonging to SC,ST and PwD categories and for other categories the gross annual family income ceiling for availing Tuition fee waiver is mentioned below:-

7. Learning Enhancement:-
It is mandatory policy of Dr. BRAUD that at least 25% of learning should be based on field studies. This policy is renders the uniqueness to the learning pedagogy of University and needs to be appreciated as adding value to education by enriching the experience of the student. Types of activities involved in this scheme are following:-
- Field Studies(local & outstation)
- Dissertation

8. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi- Vice-Chancellor’s Internship Scheme (AUD-VIS):-
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi – Vice Chancellor’s Internship Policy Scheme (AUD-VIS) which will enable students to be active stakeholders in the development of the university as well as gain valuable administrative skills and learning experience.
