This guest lecture on Sales, Operations, and Tourism Entrepreneurship was centred around that how businesses in the Indian tourism sector create value through effective customer engagement, streamlined operations, and innovative entrepreneurial practices and how tourism can help in Viksit Bharat. The lecture was focused on key sales strategies such as understanding customer needs, relationship building, and service personalization. It also covered operational essentials including service quality, resource management, and efficient workflow design. The lecture emphasized the entrepreneurial mindset needed to identify opportunities, develop unique tourism products, and navigate market challenges. The speaker answered multiple questions on how I we start my own niche, key skills needed in industry, industry requirements from freshers, most important department and staff of a travel company etc. The speaker shared practical examples and real-world case studies to the students.
